INDIGENOUS PEOPLES GREEN THE EARTH, THEY DON'T DESERVE TO PERISH!

Magandang hapon! (Good afternoon!)

I remember very well my first anthropology. I was then around 6 or 7 years old, a very innocent tot growing up in Tuguegarao (capital town of Cagayan). Among our yaya (child caregivers) was a young lady from Penablanca town just beside Tuguegarao, where the yaya invited my family for a visit one day.

In the neighbor town of Penablanca did I first encounter the Aetas (Atta in Ibanag language) who were natural inhabitants there, in the mountainous Sierra Madre side of the town. My eyes got transfixed on a little man, dark and kinky haired, and I looked at him wide-eyed without batting an eyelash, full of questions inside my head. Why was he looking so different, so diminutive in body built and height?

For the first time too did I see a White man, who entered my yaya’s house while I was still probing this small man. My gaze then got transferred to the huge man, and I was so wide-eyed then. It was surely bewildering for this innocent Erle Frayne to see the seemingly colossal White figure juxtaposed, upon his entry, to the dwarfish Dark man. What a strange world!

I always laugh with guffaws whenever I recall those days of innocence. I never thought that I’d some day I would take up sociology and anthropology (and later political economy), was enabled to comprehend the matter of ethnicity and race with greater depth and comprehension, and become a full-fledged social scientist. I also had Eros bonds with White ladies as soon as I reached middle age (one American, one European), and they shared banters with me whenever I narrated my first anthropology.

One thing that impressed me since that time on, when I met my first Aeta ‘subject’, was that the IPs were a bunch of folks who cared for their environment a lot. I remember that the Aeta man brought along lots of herbs, some of which were medicinal. I was also showed their huts when I went down the house to curiously see what things were in that area, and I saw lots of pets, livestock, gardens of families who were both Itawes (mainstream locals) and Aetas. Loves of my life all!

Having been exposed to diverse ethnicities as a child, I developed that sensitivity and multi-cultural orientation early. And I deeply scorned people who made fun of Aetas or any IP whatsoever. Likewise did I scorn folks who made fun of or disrespected ethnicities that weren’t of their own kind. Inside the classroom we were mixed Ibanags, Ilocanos, Itawes, Chinese, mestizos with European blood, and Tagalogs, and we loved each other’s company. In Penablanca they had IPs among the grade school classes mixing up with the Itawes. How pugnacious it was to hear ethnic profiling bigots!

Those experiences were very, very important as I’d find out later. Coupled with the sensitivity that I learned from my grandfather, who reared us grandchildren to do gardening, take care of pets and livestock, assured me of my ‘green consciousness’ early in life. The same experiences were also contributory to my choice to practice development work, and to go back to Cagayan upon graduation from the premier university in Quezon City (MetroManila) later.

After graduation I plunged right away into field works as part of my community development tasks for the Ministry of Human Settlements. I encountered the Aetas in the process. There was no lack of sympathy and partnering between us development professionals and the IPs then, as we did with the peasants and fisherfolks. IPs, peasants and fishers comprised the most marginalized sectors of Cagayan Valley at that time, and I guess since this time. We did everything we can within the limits of our mandated powers and tasks to get the IPs to the mainstream, including funding livelihood concerns.

Through all of my interactions with the IPs (including the Igorots of Cordillera), I was very conclusive about my observation that they had great respect for Mother Earth. Their practices of subsistence farming, hunting and foraging assured that the ecological balance will always be conserved, thus sustaining resource endowments for the forthcoming generations. They prayed before they would cut a tree, butcher a livestock (notably deer, cattle, swine), and hunting, ensuring a profound bond with the Earth and its endowments.

Having immersed myself in their lives, it surely pains me whenever I see every discriminatory and/or prejudicial act done to mistreat the IPs. Those narratives of native Americans who were rendered as target shooting fodder for White Americans during the Eastward expansion era fills me with rage. The continuing mistreatment of our IPs here, who are treated merely as ‘3rd world’ subordinates by their own city and town fellows, remain among the social issues of my advocacies.

If I were given a choice about which people to perish in the competitive decades ahead, between the urban parasites (who live in subsidies and food stumps from state and private Santa Claus) and IPs (who remain to be ecology balance conservers and self-reliance exemplars amid their simple life), I would prefer to see those urban laggards be swept off the Earth. But I don’t control the future, and who knows the urban laggards can be reformed, reshaped, microchipped for better control and productive behavior.

The Philippines is now 60% urban and barely 40% rural. If 1.5% were added to the urban population every year (which is too conservative an estimate), urban population will hit the 90% mark in 2028, and past the 97% mark in 2040. By that time, the dividing line will be largely the ‘urban-suburban’ divide, as anything ‘rural’ will simply be considered exotic.

I wonder where will that future context leave the IPs. Will they all become post-marginal and absorbed into the mainstream, behaving much like their urban and suburban fellows? Or will they simply silently disappear? I am no god incidentally, only a mortal who raises questions like anybody else.

VATICAN'S ALIEN BOMBSHELL, GLOBAL OLIGARCHS' ALIEN GENES

In a previous article, this writer tackled the ETI research that has gone on among the BRA countries (BRA is short for Britain- America- Russia), that there has been so much secrecy about the subject. As this was happening, another world power, the Vatican, silently did its own research, and had stumbled upon information whose impact not only humiliates world powers but could also devastate the financier-industrial oligarchs completely.

The secrecy behind the ETI phenomenon, according to my own researches both as a social scientist and as a mystic (who secures high knowledge by yoga methods), has got so much to do both with the real existence of ETIs and the technologies they passed on to the BRA countries, technologies regarded as classified information because they are militarily-oriented.

But there’s another secrecy which is hardly any secret to the ‘3rd Force’, the Vatican: that our very own creation, as Earth humans, cannot be set apart from a cosmic creation that includes human and human-related species on other planets in some other star systems. Furthermore, the Vatican may well be knowledgeable about the very special knowledge that we Earth humans were created with the aid of ETIs.

As theosophical founder Blavatsky was saying, nature by itself cannot evolve humans whose consciousness are sparks from God. Over 1 million planets across the physical universe were habitable, thanks to their life support systems, by human species. Such indeed was the case, as we mystics accepted, that human life-streams were created by the ‘pitris’ (fathers or collectively Father), that we peoples of Earth were aided in creation and evolution by the ‘lunar pitris’ (lunar fathers) and ‘solar pitris’ (solar fathers) in the very ancient times.

There is no way that this information, knowledge-based this time, can be hidden from the Church, which silently did its own task of researching on the subject. And maybe, to its own horror, it could have stumbled upon information that some of the leading families among the world’s elites themselves are not pure homo sapiens but are in fact hybrid aliens.

The hybridization points out to the Reptilian humanoids from the Alpha Draconis, or Reptoids, who are acknowledged as contributory to the evolution of present Earth humans or Earthans. The negative characteristics of cold bloodedness, deception, manipulation, domineering, and so on, are heritage of the Reptoids. There isn’t one of us who doesn’t possess this genetic sub-stream (of reptilian traits), though our main human form was patterned largely after the Neanderthals and cro-magnon by our ETI ‘pitris’.

However, there is still a narrower stream of present humans who had a more advanced hybridization program, done in the past, that makes them part human and part reptile. The reptilian side of them ensures occult powers that can enable its gene holders to be in constant contact with Higher Powers of whatever nature, possibly evil. The same Powers can them help these gene-holders to monopolize power and wealth across countries and regions.

The Church could have stumbled on such knowledge, and maintains it as information to leverage its own powers in the future. But the Church ETI bureau could also be aware of the fact that this information can’t be held for long, because peoples’ 3rd eyes are gradually opening due to the vibratory changes in the Earth’s own frequency. Sooner or later the elites, who possess the Draconian bloodline, and others who may be hybrid Zeta Reticuli (Grey, like the one on ET film and Indiana Jones), will be discovered by the more sensitive Earthans without aid of yogic meditation or vision.

Imagine the great shock that will meet many people, probably as high as 40% of our population, in the coming years when their 3rd eyes will enable perception of Reptoid hybrids. Leaders of states, big business, big media, corporate foundations, international NGOs will be affected by the unveiling of the ‘energy veil’ and will no longer be able to hide their true identities.

That includes you, fellows. Many of you will be able to see with your own eyes. We mystics, being adept at yogic visioning, have already perceived them in advance of the rest. But we’ve kept quite silent about our shocking discoveries. Now the Vatican is taking the cudgels for us all, including us mystics, and we may as well welcome the Vatican ETI bombshell. This could be for our good in the long run.

VATICAN OKAYS ALIEN PRESENCE, WILL WORLD POWERS FOLLOW SUIT?

The BRA (Britain-America-Russia) ‘triumvirate of alien researchers’ holds something so special in their respective vaults of knowledge that each power held as top secret for many decades now. It has a great deal to do with the Extra-Terrestrial Intelligences or ETIs, the results of which were actually inferred through systematic research and interaction with ETIs.

The question that the rest of us Earth humans or Earthans are asking now is, why has there been so much secrecy regarding the ETI phenomenon? Does it suffice to claim that humanity is not prepared yet for the knowledge about the ETIs, and so the policy of the BRA Establishment is to keep mum about the matter? Or is it because the knowledge derived from the research is of military significance, and anything militarily-oriented is classified information?

We could say that all of the above reasons held true last century, more so in the decades after World War I. Humanity was still mired in superstition and Victorian mindsets than, the level of knowledge was still in the level of the Enlightenment Era and was pathetically narrow to comprehend ETIs, and the military information given by the ETIs whom the BRA interacted with were pure and plain classified.

But that was true for the 20th century though. Mankind had moved on since those early exploratory decades. It may be time to make public pronouncements about the ETIs.

Fact is, the Nazi Germans were the first to study the ETIs intensively and may have received knowledge from some ETI groups. The same knowledge may have been used to design the nuclear bomb, and were it not that Allied onslaught wiped out German military production altogether, the same Bomb could have been dropped on Germany’s enemies, permitting Germany to establish its 1000-year Reich. Japan and Italy could have benefitted enormously from the 1000-year tyranny, thanks to ETI technology.

It did not happen that way though. The BRA countries, which were the core leaders of the Allied Forces, also had their own intensive R&D done on the subject, at the same time when relativity theory and quantum mechanics were revolutionizing the sciences. They later got hold of Nazi scientists who were ETI researchers, and secretly employed the same in their own research pursuits.

But another world power, the Vatican, silently observed those occurrences during the past decades. Little did the world outside know that after Vatican II, the church installed its own ETI research bureau, headed by a cardinal and staffed with scientist priests and lay. The bureau was instrumental in collating previous data and evidences, the most baffling being some skulls of unusual shape—deposited in Vatican relics—that do not at all cohere with any of the hominoid and hominid skulls known to man. These were alien skulls right inside the Vatican!

As the Vatican ETI bureau did its work silently, only occasionally coming out with seemingly independent views by church members, it also secured its own information about what the BRA ‘triumvirate’ was doing about ETI and their state-of-the-art technological applications.

Now that the planet had entered the starting phase of its post-industrial, Information Age phase, humans are simply ready to accept knowledge about their own brethren beyond our star systems. The Vatican was expecting that the secular BRA triumvirate, reinforced by UN and international scientific circles, should make the pronouncement now, at this very moment, when people are looking for some hope to be able to get out of the growing global chaos.

But the BRA officialdom failed to do its part, for one reason or another. And this could have prompted the Vatican hierarchy to do the first salvo of revelation, by utilizing an astronomer priest to pronounce the official policy about ETIs. Accordingly, God created many life forms and life streams, including human-related beings, and so ETIs are well within the ambit of the integrity of Creation.

What a bombshell this revelation is! A true bombshell! Now the Vatican is examining the public feedback from the pronouncement to see if there are hostile or antipathetic thoughts whatsoever. And there are none! Which now empowers the Church all the more, mandating it to make the official heraldry about ETIs in the next couple of years.

There’s no way that the BRA countries would counter this move with PR slanders against the Church for the latter to keep its mouth shut. No force on Earth can do that on the Vatican, remember. Or else the Church will mastermind the economic collapse and fragmentation of the world power involved, this being its sanguine leverage against any arrogantly abusive power.

VATICAN WEALTH COULD MAKE OR BREAK AMERICA OR ANY WORLD POWER

In a previous article I tackled the real reason behind the unprecedented respect accorded on the Pope by the officialdom of the USA. As I cogitated in the article, the reason has got to do with the enormous wealth of the Church.

In some previous articles, I tackled about the financial power of the Catholic Church in the Philippines, a power that bestows on the Church the status of being the wealthiest landlord-capitalist oligarch in the country. I have also been discoursing, for over a decade now, that Philippine poverty can be fast-tracked if and only if the Catholic Church would be taxed of its properties and businesses, and its estates undergo land reform.

If we take the Catholic Church as an entirety in the planet, with its diverse archdioceses and dioceses, religious orders, banks and related financial institutions, lay clubs with their vast assets, and all the social development groups involved (combining all member of the Church), we have before us a gigantic web of organizations and colossal assets. At the center of it all is the Vatican, with the 2nd College of Bishops as the top organ of corporate governance.

Without doubt, no other corporation on Earth could match the Church organizationally and wealth-wise. And no corporate group, both private and state, would ever clash with the Church concerning policy or the highlighting of church wrongdoings, as this would badly backlash on the bellicose party. Likewise wouldn’t any nation among the ‘open society’ states openly clash with the Church without experiencing the fatal backlash.

If we were to estimate the wealth of the Church, we will surely be overwhelmed by the immensity of quantity at hand. The annual income alone from all church and church-related operations, counting both the huge donations and the business operations, would already amount to trillions of dollars. By my own rough estimate, the Church ‘gross domestic product’ would well surpass the USA’s or EU’s.

How about the value of the land estates and the buildings (church, schools, businesses, retreat houses, seminar houses, humanitarian & social development, health-related, etc)? current assets from both donations and financing institutions (banks, financial houses)? gold bullions accumulated after centuries of operations, including those taken through plunder of conquered lands? These must run in the hundreds of trillions of dollars!

Fellows, the Vatican is indubitably the wealthiest, most powerful global corporation or holding company. With such power, it could make or break any nation for that matter, as it had done secretly on the atheistic Soviet Union.

Destroy a nation’s currency, and you would destroy it totally. This is an axiom known to Keynes and economists that includes myself. Knowing this well, the financial operators of the Church did exactly apply this shock operations on the Soviet Union that saw its total irreparable collapse.

Led by combined mafia-Opus Dei operations, the Church purchased the greater bulk of USSR currency at quite promising sums. Having then run out of bills for daily transactions, the USSR through KGB operators had to buy back the rubles via black market, but this time bought at very costly prices (in US dollars). Until finally realizing that it doesn’t have sufficient foreign reserves and gold to leverage the ruble drain, the USSR collapsed under the deadweight of its own roof. Simple!

And that, fellows, is the subtle message of the Vatican to both the American and British oligarchs whose predatory financial transactions and wars are now proving to be catastrophic, that they threaten the heart of Vatican operations itself. And time is now running out on the same oligarchs and their respective states.

POPE HONORED UNPRECEDENTLY IN THE USA: WHY SO?

U.S. President George Bush seems to have honored the Vatican’s chief prelate with an unusual pomp. The news were all revelatory of the unprecedented treatment the Pope received in his recent visit, a behavior that quite baffles many observers most especially the foreign relations experts.

Not even chiefs-of-state from other countries normally receive such a treatment accorded on the Pope, a fact that the state officials themselves pronounced. Yet here is the Vatican’s chief-of-state receiving precisely that ‘most preferred status’ among the various chief executives of the planet.

The most obvious answer that can be advanced by unthinking observers is that the Pope is a pious figure. This being so, he deserves the accolades and respect that any eminently pious personage deserves to have. This reasoning is old hat, simplistic or simpleton reasoning and has nothing to do with the reality of the moment.

That reality has a great deal to do with economic malaise that America and its northern allies are currently experiencing. Growth has all but flattened in most OECD nations, including Japan and Canada. The USA is coming off as worst, given that it already experienced a recession at the inception of this new decade (2001-02), and here it comes off again with a 2nd recession within the same decade.

The recession is surely bad news for America. For an economy of a size so large it contributes to 22% of the World Gross Product or WDP, a 2nd recession within a decade spells enormous disasters bordering catastrophe and total collapse. The collapse could lead to a depression, and the depression could lead to massive capital flight by both portfolio and strategic corporate investors.

Americans surely don’t know the gravity that the economic malaise had befallen their super-nation, don’t know the consequences of faulty actions and old solutions that hardly work anymore. Among those old tools are the interest rate intervention, fiscal incentives (tax cuts) and further liberalization of the economy. A faulty action would be the rescue of bankrupt banks such as that done on the Bear & Stearns, which was copied from Japan’s experience in the 1990s of ‘crisis management’.

The Vatican is watching all of these events, on top of its keen observation of the political aggressions of the USA from 2001 onwards. The aggressions have angered Moslems no end, and the political volcano of the Islamic world could very well spill over into Europe which is the Vatican’s home sweet home. Likewise does the Vatican, which is so awash with money, watching the unusual cross-border financial flows occurring as the Northern economies, led by the USA, are in panic response over their respective shocks and crisis.

The world has to admit this: the Catholic Church is the largest global corporation. There resides the power of the Vatican: in the power of its purse. So huge is the Church organization-wise, so vast its financial and estate assets, that no one single corporate group can ever match its resources at hand.

It would surely be stupid and suicidal for any corporate group or nation to ever challenge the might of the Vatican head on. Instead of clashing with the Vatican, the appropriate foreign relations template must be that of cooperation and dialogue.

And this is what the inner circles of Bush surely have in mind during the Pope’s visit to America lately. Show some semblance of infatuation with the Church, for it can potentially help the USA solve its cash starvation to pay $50 Trillion worth of debts, balance its perennially deficit budget, put some plugs on capital flight, and loan out gold bullions to shore up the pathetically low gross international reserves.

That, fellows, is the true reason behind the unprecedented reverence and most honorable treatment on the head of the Catholic Church by the state officialdom of America lately. And that show of respect must have paid off well in the short run.

ASEAN PEACE, COOPERATION AFTER BURMA CYCLONE: FAST-TRACK MEKONG PROJECT

The latest Burma cyclone that caused much havoc, with death tolls now past the 100,000 mark, could very well be an occasion for building peace, cooperation and accelerated development in the continental Southeast Asia (Con-SE). That is, if the leaders of the region have the foresight and political will to pursue grand projects aimed at economic and political integration in the near future.

The Burma calamity is also an opportunity for the Burmese leadership (military) to mend its fractured bond not only with its constituents but also with its neighbors who that continue to perceive Burma with ambivalence precisely because of the praetorians’ illegitimate clutch of power. Burma’s development planners could well use the occasion to integrate Burma neatly into the region, attract investments and transform the country into a gateway portal for commerce & trade.

First of all, it must be recognized by various stakeholders within and outside of Burma that the catastrophic results of the cyclone did happen due to a combination of natural and human factors. The indiscriminate extraction/utilization of mangroves as well as the ceaseless and indiscriminate logging operations (past till present times) have imprinted their seemingly permanent damage on the environment. But such damage is not irreversible.

It is now a foregone conclusion that Burma’s development had flattened, and if political instabilities plus impoverishment will continue across the years, massive outflows of Burmese will be the nightmare wave of the region. Burma’s neighbors, more so the highly urbanized ones, will be swamped with migrants from the Myanmar. The migrants might bring along with them warring ethnicities that would become bases for terrorist cell formations later, thus trebling the nightmare of a ‘Burma syndrome’ in ASEAN.

So, the tall order for the ASEAN as a whole is to intervene as much as possible in fast-tracking Burma’s development. And that cannot be done, I think, without an integrated Con-SE development drafted and implemented soon. With this in place, the flow of peoples will more or less be balanced: Con-SE and Islanders-SE (Filipinos, Malaysians, Indonesians, Brueneians) will be moving in with expertise, technology and investments, while Burmese people stay with both jobs and entrepreneurships to keep them going. Competitive Burmese can then move out and seek jobs and business among their neighbors, balancing the in-migration from the latter.

Furthermore, the impetus to development must come from the ‘physical economy’. The Mekong River Project, a gigantic $100 Billion that is now in the pipeline, can be the lynchpin for all the other projects that will arise thereafter. This project has many components, among them irrigation, flood control, power generation, transportation, and tourism. It will also benefit the entire Con-SE and China which is connected to the river system upstream. The Asians have already committed to fund the project themselves and will not need external multilateral agencies at all.

Of course, the ‘green agenda’ must be well integrated into the project. Not only the Mekong but related river systems and areas as far as the sea coasts must move fast to rehabilitate damaged mangrove areas. Electrification from the hydro-plants arising will be exemplar for alternative energy sources to rise, including wind power and solar that the entire ASEAN itself can produce at present. Tourism should better follow the eco-tourism and medical tourism waves. And Indigenous Peoples or IPs should better be served well by the projects rather then they becoming sweat labor cogs in the process.

Second to the integrated Mekong and other river systems project would be a railway system across the Con-SE. An ambitious maglev railway system that will traverse within and across the borders of Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Malaysia and Singapore would be exceedingly excellent impetus for rapid change and development, peace and cooperation. The maglev system should then interconnect with India and China, thus creating railway loops that would be part of the emerging Eurasian railway systems.

Reinforcing projects such as gas & oil pipelines that will interconnect all of the ASEAN countries would also be great. Added to these projects would be fiber optic cables that would also connect all of the countries, and interconnect ASEAN with the emerging global fiber optic circuit. Finally, an ASEAN-wide aerospace program be considered, planned, installed and operated in the short run, which will launch satellites for the region, interconnect its countries, and launch and maintain communications satellites for other emerging markets.

Being a ‘citizen’ of ASEAN, I am looking at things from the regional perspective. And, like most fellow ASEANians, 60% of us being now so eager to interrelate, cooperate, and bond in the years ahead (per results of regional survey), I am impatient to see this region move up, eradicate all insurgencies, resolve inter-country animosities, integrate politically, and prosper as one gigantic economic powerhouse.

Failing to achieve such goals, we will be met with perpetual catastrophic cyclones, wars, ‘boat people’ nightmares, and hosts of other malaise that can better be solved if we all act as one. I just wish that the politicians and businessmen of the region would also see things this way. Maybe the businessmen could, but as to politicians, including the most admirable Mahathir, they seem to be mired in the Stone Age of parochial power struggles and localized ethnic mindsets. And I’ve grown exceedingly exasperated with their irrelevant antics.

We surely have a ‘clash of generations’ brewing here, don’t we? The younger ones, myself included, who represent the multi-cultural, postmodern, urban-suburban, space age mindsets are getting impatient at the older ones, who represent the Old Order and are still in power in all sectors, including churches, governments, businesses, civil society and ‘rebel’ sectors. Kenichi Ohmae’s prophecy of this clash is quite correct after all, and the tectonic pressure of the clash is gathering energy each day.

Before that clash would ever ignite into wars of destructive proportions, the older generations better reflect on the emerging realities here. Old perceptions and old formulas don’t work anymore. We should just move on to welcome new paradigms and not squander the great optimism among our ‘ASEAN citizens’ who are waiting to be counted in shaping the new reality.

INDIANA JONES SLAMS CAPITALISM, BRITISH FINANCIERS

Among the very revealing facets of the latest Indiana Jones film is its effective deconstruction of ‘free enterprise’ capitalism and the force behind it, the British financier oligarchy. Capitalism and British are actually one and the same, Britain being the ideological heart of capitalist doctrines and action.

Dr. Jones had his ‘junior partner’, the MI6 agent, throughout his adventures. But the shocking revelation to Dr. Jones was that his partner would later betray him for one expected reason: money (or its metallic signifier, Gold).

Capitalism is a system founded on pure greed, and every kind of doctrine—particularly those based on physiocratic economics—was built in so sophisticated a manner to justify it. It is based on the money economy, and thrives only in conditions of imperialist strategies.

There is no way that capitalism or laissez faire can progress without markets overseas to sustain it. And such markets cannot be sustained without economic-political imperialism. That was the purpose of the British Empire territories: as sure-ball markets for British articles of trade and finance capital.

The economic British Empire is very much alive, the financial empire ruled by the British-Dutch financiers is around. But the Empire is now crumbling, and crashing fast, as the financial bubble that it created globally had imploded. The erosion is very rapid, the outcome unpredictable.

The Indiana Jones film showed this collapse and eventual eradication of capitalism well. Mr. MI6, upon seeing the colossal gold in the sanctuary of the dormant alien species (Zeta Reticuli or ‘grey’), hoarded as much as he ca, unmindful of the fast eroding ground that he stood upon, ground that was degenerating due to the force field built by the alien’s preparation to move out of the area.

Maddened by his unfathomable greed, Mr. MI6 could no longer effectively see his very own immediate surround. No calamity, catastrophe, devastation could ever change the focus of this mad man, only gold (money and capitalism) mattered. That’s what the British financiers are doing now: loot and loot more amid destruction.

The spaceship-alien complex, which signifies actually the rapidly emerging post-industrial or information society and its ‘space age’ construct, simply blasted down the mad gold hunter that signifies the old world of ‘money economy’ and its last adaptive system of laissez faire capitalism.
Greed cannot be sustained, systems founded to advance greed can never be sustained, and money-based systems are no match to knowledge-based systems in long run. The former will crumble beyond disrepair as the latter ascends to prominence and dominate all areas of life, including the space terrain.

Joseph Schumpeter, Daniel Bell and Alvin Toffler all forewarned the world about the eventual collapse of capitalism. As soon as the information society moves up, it will crash those institutions founded on hoarding, on money and greed. And that crashing time is now happening.

It is surely an exciting thing to await the next Indiana Jones series. Better watch it please, as the new Indiana Jones Jr. belongs to a new breed of humans, the knowledge-savvy types. Let us see more scenes of capitalism being slam banged, defanged and destroyed in the next episodes coming.

INDIANA JONES REINFORCES ALIEN PRESENCE

Good morning from Manila!

I just reviewed the film Indiana Jones recently at one of the theatres of the new Trinoma Mall at North Avenue of my city (Quezon City). The film series is still captivating in special effects and general plot, the flamboyant figure of Dr. Jones still a magnet of awe and controversy.

For sure this film had projected quite well the significance of archeology as a science, and is doing a PR job by promoting this science to adolescents who are fond of adventure and are inquisitive at the same time. Albeit, the series causes chagrin on real life archeologist, including those personal friends of mine in Manila who disdain the plot as denigrating to the anthropological profession.

Let that be the two-side reflection of those viewers who prefer to see that archeological side of the film. I would rather at this moment highlight one facet to Indiana Jones: its reinforcement of accentuating the presence of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligences or ETIs on our planet.

The whole plot in fact was centered on the ETI angle. The relic that was being searched for by a competing force (Soviet agents) and their foreign assets (a former MI6 agent, British) happened to be a crystalline skull whose significance was as recondite as the ocean’s floor.

At the concluding segment of the film, the players ended up in some sanctuaries deep in the Andes jungles and mounts (Peru area). There they stumbled upon the shocking truth that the skull belonged to an ETI, and the cavernous space housing the skeletal ‘remains’ of the ETIs was actually a space ship.

For so many centuries, the owner of the skull (head of the ETI mission team) was waiting for the skull’s return. It was stolen by some adventurers in the past (Spanish conquistadores), but sooner or later it will be returned.

Return did the skull to its owner. And upon its return, the erstwhile dormant being was activated, including its team members. The other dormant skeletons, with their skulls intact, then merged with the team head to comprise one whole unified being, with flesh.

The film revealed that this was the Zeta Reticuli species of ETIs, the ‘Greys’. They were tall, like the 7+ footer ‘greys’ that mystics (I am among them) and observers listed among a short list of ETI visitors and claimants to our planet.

The merging of all the ‘greys’ in the film signified that the said species were unified by their ‘collective mind’, that they didn’t possess individual minds like Earth humans or Earthans. They don’t exactly merge physically in reality, but their electromagnetic bodies (etheric-astral) do merge, something that they can do at will (which we Earthans can only do when our body sleeps and our astral body moves to the ‘dream plane’ or astral plane that happens to be its natural niche).

Already psychically powerful, a merged Zetan (grey) would be even more powerful by hundreds of times than the leader. So powerful was the Zetan that it was able to disintegrate the competing force (Soviet spy) at will.

Then, the Zetan spaceship moved out of the area and quickly moved to ‘hyperspace’, the astral-etheric 4th dimension (‘space between space’) that can short cut the travel to one’s destination across the universe.

It was simply a probe team, not an invasion force, that got stuck up in the Andes during its eco-scanning mission. Just like any probe team, it has to return to base to report its findings. It did just that, as the film suggested.

The latest film re-echoed the thesis of Isaac Asimov, a pioneer of post-modern futures, that galactic intelligences will choose between technological superiority or psychic (occult) superiority to prove which one is superior in the end. (See Asimov’s ‘foundation and empire’ series.)

As the ‘foundation & empire’ series of Asimov kept on re-echoing, those that nurture the occult/psychic side of life over and above technological prowess will prove to be the smarter species. Indiana Jones did re-echo this theme well, and so we Earthans better heed the message.

OBAMA'S VICTORY LAUDED

Good morning from Manila!

Senator Obama of the USA finally had his victorious moment recently as he clipped the Democratic electoral primaries’ trophy. He is the Man of the hour in America, the most competent choice to beat the Republicans who must better take the backseat of power.

Being a Filipino patriot and analyst who’s been keenly observing economic, political and cultural events in the USA, I’ve arrived at a conclusion way back in the 1980s yet that I have no sympathy whatsoever for the conservatives of the USA. In both their handling of domestic and foreign affairs of America, they always ended up bungling America’s domestic economy and the
USA’s image overseas, and drag down the world into the rut that they create.

The impact of Republican governance to Philippine reality has been so strong and so damaging to say the least. As a colony then of the USA, it has always been Republican policy initiatives that held sway in the colonial government here, initiatives that ensured eventually the power of oligarchic families who have since taken over power after America left in 1946.

Then, after World War II, there came President Truman, another boorish conservative, who implemented wholesale the desires of the Military-Industrial elite to divide the world along the Reds versus Capitalist dichotomy. That act, which bred the Cold War, got us mired into the cul de sac, a tragedy that we continue to suffer from as our local military has been residing in that quagmire and its death squads have been violating human rights so abusively.

Then came Reagan who, alongside her Conservative ally Thatcher of the UK, executed to the letter the financier oligarchs’ wish to liberalize domestic economies. The policies of liberalization, deregulation, privatization, tax reforms, liberalized foreign exchange rate, decentralization and hosts of austerity measures, imposed by the IMF-World Bank group, are the causes of our poverty and developmental delays. Those policies began with Reaganomics, just to remind everyone else.

The latest ‘neo-conservative’ Republican hawkish resurgence, which seems like a reincarnation of the Truman ‘cold war’ doctrine, forced us Filipinos to re-align back to US impositions in foreign policy. This is a total reversal of our independence in foreign policy that we patriots fought for with so much blood and pains. And so many lives we lost overseas due to this kowtowing to conservative-oligarchic dictates of the Military-Industrial elites of America.

It is now time to call for a break from the military-financial madness spawned by the hawkish Republicans. And this can be best done by first of all supporting any party in America other than Republicans.

The victory of Obama in the primaries could be the start of the reform movement in America long waited for not only by Americans but also but other peoples of the planet. Kudos to Senator Obama and his campaign team for a job well done!

VOW BREAKAGE, DEMONIC BEHAVIOR: SOME CASES

Belated Happy Mothers’ Day to all mothers, women, Mother Earth, Mother Nature, Divine Mother! Glory be to our mothers!

I will substantiate today the thesis I made in a previous article about the effects of breaking of vows. Vow-breaking is the working of one’s ‘inner demon’ (see my article “Inner Demon, Doppelganger”), it is as demonic as any criminal act. Vows pledged to certain Orders are particularly those that will be dealt with heavy penalty by the Karmic Board, and the neutralization of effects is something I have no idea about for now. Let me meditate on that later.

Meantime, just to show to you what the deleterious effects of vow-breakage can do, let me cite some cases of brethren of my libertarian-service Order, the Phoenix. As I said in a previous article, to my own shock, I found out that Leviathan (Satan, Ahriman, Belzeebub, Anti-Christ) was himself actively involved in fragmenting Phoenix, and is likewise doing the same to many fellowship groups here and in other fallen planets. Right now I see the same pattern happening in the charismatic fellowship Couples for Christ, and pity this huge brotherhood it is fragmenting at a time when it has been showing great strides in its social development campaign (via the socialized housing Gawad Kalinga).

Here are some cases of what’s happening, as the brethren of Phoenix are now being engulfed by the most evil of energies from the 7th Dominion of the Dark Side:

· Jack M. Formerly Grand Premier of the supreme council, late 70s-early 80s. Committed to get active in reviving Phoenix in 1994, promised me not to join the Free & Accepted Masons. To my shock, he joined masonry, disappeared in Phoenix. And secretly got involved in gold smuggling overseas, through passenger plane operations…. Result: JM is today suffering from debilitating stroke. Slowly deteriorating, he’s almost in vegetable state.

· Roger M. Another leading youth Phoenix. Formerly from the chapter for Philippine School for Business Administration. Committed to be active and help me in reviving and re-engineering Phoenix to a grand order. Secretly got involved in overseas smuggling (gold, other contrabands), with Yakuza partners. He got caught, jailed, then went back home with brain damage. …Result: Since the mid-90s yet, he was a vegetable for life. Lucky enough, he’s got a devoted wife to take care of him. He’s till deteriorating gradually, and worsening by the day. Yet he lives.

· Tony S. One of the originals. Committed to help in re-engineering, but was half-hearted. Always found reasons not to get involved too much. Disrespected the innovations that I was introducing to the Order. Till he dropped out, around the late 90s…. Result: His wife divorced him, c 2001-02. Past his 50s, as a development professional he can’t get a job above the coordinator level, which makes him financially average if not troubled. Some brethren, such as Brod Ronald (his former colleague in a NGO), parted ways with him, on ideological grounds. At his age, in his own words, he said “hanggang ngayon wala pang nangyayari sa buhay ko” (till now nothing substantial has happened to my life). Coming from an intelligent man, who attended the premier university, what a pity!

· Cesar M. Formerly of UP Diliman chapter, married to Phoenix sister Annie M. Refused to even attend any of the Phoenix fellowships since after we met him in Sept. 1994. His wife Annie wished so much to get involved again, but was blocked by Cesar….Result: Annie began to suffer from debilitating cancer in the 90s. For almost a decade she suffered. Then, around 2005, she died of the ailment. Pity on this man, who knows not what he’s doing! I hope he won’t lose his only daughter, so cute and beautiful like her mother Annie. Or lose his advertising job, his only fund source.

· Arnel S. Another leading youth Phoenix. Formerly of Adamson University chapter. He’s been appearing in past anniversary and other events in 94-98. He showed enthusiasm to get involved, but always floated the excuse that he was a family man, was active in civil society (Left), had no time for Phoenix. …Result: Around the late 90s, his wife suffered from debilitating ailment (apparently cancer). In one surgery alone, his family had to spend nearly P400,000 which, in the 90s, was a fortune here. I never heard about him again till the 1998 anniversary.

· Jun M. Quite leading brethren, but mentally unstable. Began suffering from psychosis in mid-80s. Was able to function in his job for a while, till 1990. Before that, his wife Gina began a long bout with cancer. We’ve been together in civil society for a time, and he was among those who joined me to revive Phoenix in 1994. However, due to his lingering bout with schizophrenia, he couldn’t keep focus. Only in 1999 did he become active. Did some appreciable tasks. Then his wife died couples of years back. He’s still dysfunctional job-wise, he can only do volunteer work and is a bum till now. Lately, he betrayed me and the Order, put up another group with his factional pals, does not even know the consequences of his own action. What would you expect? The perennial loser guy. A jinx to his own family. Living a vicious circle.

· Jim M. The type who’d regard Phoenix as a mere loose club. Cronyist since we were youth, Jim had this aura of creating an inner circle even if he superficially relates to brethren. He was factional in youth, had Attention Deficit Disorder condition, was an underachiever and phlegmatic in personality. Committed to help me in re-engineering Phoenix in 1994. But he was so superficial in his behavior, ‘plastic’ as we called it in Filipino, his commitment was half-hearted. In the 1990s his own wife, a feminist leader, divorced him. He was simply unable to make his wife happy. Even in the new Phoenix (grand order), he hardly did anything appreciable such as to build a lodge. He recruited his cronies, and still aspires to build a club of his former activist cronies. Then, in 2005 he betrayed me, slandered me before a former boss with whom I departed ways for his group’s incompetence and unwelcoming behavior. This was the last straw. Already guilty of treachery, this guy never even put his foot forward to apologize, and instead moved to get his faction out of the Phoenix and is now building this club of cronies. What will happen next to him is worth observing.

More brethren will die in the coming years, and chances are that by 2012 all brethren will see deaths to themselves, or spouse or family member. Add to that the catastrophe of financial collapse, debilitating mental ailments, or any disaster that would come in ‘surprise’ fashion. Nothing is surprising about their destruction, come to think of it. They broke vows, broke with Phoenix like it were some garbage of shit, and what would you expect? They unwittingly unlocked the 7th-dimension Dark Energy veil!

So, you fellows out there better re-examine the couples of vows that you may have broken in the past or are about to break. As to the karmic penalties for the vow breakage, only the Karmic Board can fix that and revise it with the help of certain Boddhisattvas. Question is, do you even connect to Boddhisattvas? Do they even figure in your life paradigm? Save your own souls, fellows. God bless!

TESTING NEW EARTHQUAKE-CAUSING WMD ON CHINA

As I was browsing through the pages of the newspapers this morning, my eyes immediately caught the item about the China earthquake update. The latest quake flattened many towns to ground level, killing over 22,000 folks, and destroyed infrastructures thus cutting off the affected areas from outside relief operations. The quake registered 7.9 magnitude on Reichster.

That quake was 2000 times more powerful than the Big One that struck Luzon in the early 1990s and caused extensive damages across couples of regions and cities. Obviously much bigger, the China quake must be expected to wreak greater destruction than Luzon’s (Philippine’s) big tremor.

The difference between the Luzon and Sichuan (China) quakes is not just magnitude and damages however. The Luzon quake was natural, as it had got to do with tectonic plate movements. Past the Luzon quake came those secret innovations on building a new weapon of mass destruction or WMD, the leading one being the Tesla Earthquake Machine or Tesla-EM (my own term for it). China’s quake has got to do more with the latter, though its own authorities may keep mum about their findings.

Remember the big quakes that struck Japan and Indonesia lately, killing thousands and flattening towns and cities? The Indonesia quake even ignited tsunamis that devastated coastal towns and establishments across many countries? These two Asian countries were the first to taste the Tesla-EM, and Establishment media did what it can to deodorize and cover up the story, the byline being that it is ‘natural’ (sic!).

The great mind Tesla, world-class physicist and inventor-wiz, left behind so many of his innovations and R&D materials without formal publication. That is because he feared the implications of his findings, and so he rather chose to shut his mouth about them. The documents were then secured in the archives of the US Library of Congress (X1) and elsewhere (X2), leaving them largely unnoticed, until some techie-savvy ‘Indiana Jones’ would appear to immerse in them and find out for themselves the practical uses of those innovation designs.

One such design innovation has got to do with inducing earthquakes so powerful that even in areas without histories of quakes or located far away from quake fault lines, high magnitude quakes will be generated. Certain countries silently conducted their R&D about the matter, and must have been horrified about their outcomes that they kept the results (and the product prototypes) highly secretly guarded.

It was obviously the most promising WMD (in the perspective of madmen), as it pathetically downgraded the thermonuclear devices into kids’ toys. This is the real one, and the “beauty” of it all is that a prototype machine is so small it can be loaded entirely in a mere passenger luggage.

Aware of such a possibility, the leaders of the Aum cult of Japan did their own surreptitious networking and found some contacts (possibly yakuza and overseas mafia) to procure the new WMD. They then sent their guys to Australia that became their initial lab. Possibly realizing the unquestioned efficacy of the machine (after doing a micro-test down south), they reported the results to their central bosses in Japan… Onwards till the leadership was captured, allegedly for poison gas attacks in a railways area that killed thousands. The gas attack was possibly a mere cover up, to mask a possibly heavier onslaught—the big quake that struck Kobe.

After the Japan quake came the Indonesia quake & tsunami. Remember the 300,000+ dead and millions left without homes by this incident? The sinking of the affected island too? ….Then here’s the China quake, which came right after (1) the Tibetan fiasco and (2) the US discovery of an underground submarine base in the southeast (along sea lanes).

Just exactly what group unleashed this WMD on China? Was it the same group that struck both Indonesia and Japan? Were they the intelligence agents of certain powers that possess the WMD? Or is it a terrorist group, such as the Aum cult in Japan that may have been the culprit behind the big quake there?

Meantime, let us watch for more frequent big quakes to come whose magnitude and damage scales will boggle our minds. Every interest group will use the event for their own filthy propaganda for sure. But let us please watch and record, and do our research homework. My own country could be next.

FOOD WARS ARE COMING, PREPARE!

Food wars are coming, prepare for the contingencies! This is now a visible possibility, so all those enthused development stakeholders and peace-builders better insert an extra agendum on their ‘key result areas’.

Given the so many sources of conflict that are natural resources related, the latest ones being the ‘water wars’, it is no longer a remote possibility that food wars will erupt in some ‘hot soup spots’ in the world. Such hot spots are not those ones the world knows today (e.g. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Korean Peninsula, Taiwan-China strait) that can be potential starting points for great wars. But somehow, the areas and the food wars coming can ‘cross-cut’ the issues involving conflicts in the hot spots we know.

The scenario would be as follows:

· A convergence of volatilities in the global market would, at one conjuncture, lead to simultaneous price increases in food, oil/energy, metals, utilities. Hoarding then takes place at alarmingly uncontrollable levels. Shockingly, the old ‘policy tools’ to control prices and hoarding won’t work.

· Massive urban riots and upheavals in the affected rural areas take place. New militia groups will rise almost overnight, challenging both national armies and established warlord and rebel groups where these are found.

· Noticing that their own food, energy, base metal stocks are near or pass the critical points, affected states will then turn blind eye to the militias. Tying up with underworld for arms and information, the militias would then conduct quick eco-scan of neighboring countries that are relatively porous for food ransack operations. Key areas would be mapped out as professionally as possible.

· Noticing their own relative porosity, the panic response of affected food supplier states would be to plug their borders as quickly as they can before hothead militias come. They may do panic last-level talks with the state leaders of neighboring countries, who in turn will simply claim that they do not control warlord/militia groups at all. They may send token protection groups at the border.

· Anticipating such moves, the militias, forming cross-country alliances, will mount a coordinated surprise attack. Invasive entries will be done from around 5-6 country origins, using both dawn and dusk attacks. Simultaneous attacks via air, sea, land, rivers & lakes will be mounted on all fronts.

· Effectively unable to prevent the coordinated invasion, the national army/police of the affected state will watch in horror as the rapid moving invaders coalesce with internal players (‘dog of wars’ supplied by local mafia or related groups) to open and ransack warehouses.

· The invaders will then retreat back to their base origins as quick as they’ve entered the porous state. Hot pursuit is simply nil, save for a few sporadic gunfights with retreating forces.

· The affected state will then demand for indemnification or equivalent payment from the militias’ respective states, none of which may come at all. Given the already burgeoning subsidies by states to shore up domestic supplies and prevent further civil unrest due to the crisis, the states will simply have no resource for indemnification. To print more money for indemnification would be to risk hyper-inflation on top of an already inflationary environment.

· With hardly any sincere face-saving moves by the militias’ states, the affected state may then be provoked into a ‘call to arms’ and do some punitive attacks on some quick neighbors. It can also unleash the firepower of rebel groups from the ransacking countries that are based in its territory, arm these groups and make them lead punitive attacks.

· Unless cooler heads prevail in the region, a regional conflagration could ensue, hence widening the latitudes of the conflict. The original ‘hot soup’ for the stomach then turns to a ‘hot caldron’ of total war. Multilateral efforts may fail for a time, as the conflicts happen in at least three (3) world regions.

Partners in development and peace, this scenario can no longer be ignored today. Let us all prepare for the eventuality. If it can be stopped by cutting off the bud before it blooms, whatever that may take, then let’s better do it as soon as we can. Time is now against us, I believe, as events are moving so fast they happen as soon as we forecast them, like the formation of the food cartels.

If there would still be time to constitute strategic studies teams that can eco-scan the planet and identify possible ‘hot soup spots’, this would be a welcome move. Failing to recognize the evolving contingency, let’s not get shocked at all when the paramilitary ‘dogs of war’ will be at the gates of the bereaved states. They deserve some ‘hot soup’ after all, we may surmise.

WHAT RICE SHORTAGE? SACKLOADS CAN FILL MOUNTAINS!

You see, if you’re going to beg (panic buy) from any rice trader in Cagayan Valley (northern Philippines) for some rice, accompanied by your melancholic look like as if all rice will disappear from Earth very soon, the stunned trader would most likely say, “you’re asking only for a few rice? By golly we got mountain loads of them here!” “What? You say there’s a shortage of rice? Tell that to the Marines! What a Big Lie, this shortage!”

Development partners, peace builders, this is the latest news update I got on the ground. A structural engineer up north, who contracts projects for the Department of Agriculture, laughed with guffaws about the ‘shortage lie’ as he narrated to me his fresh reportage passed on to him by traders. There’s plenty of rice to last for months, for Christ’s sake!

Look at what the organized chaos had done so far here in Manila and other regions. It had made the poorer more pathetic as they have to line up for supposedly cheap rice, made to believe as they are by public relations Pied Pipers that rice is going to run out soon. We’re almost near to stampedes here already, thanks heavens there’s still some dignity left among our poor folks they won’t stampede for rice alone. They would do that for a Wowowie TV program that promises to turn them into millionaires overnight, but to stampede for 5 kilograms of rice? Hello! Our folks are too civilized to buy that bullet.

To continue, listen to what some traders said: “Kabayan, how tragic this shortage lie had done not only to our poor but to us traders. We got so huge stocks in the warehouses, but now we cannot just bring them to Manila for unloading, afraid that no retailer might buy them because suddenly their wholesale prices are sky high. So now even our pockets have to wait for the more stable days. Sad!”

That’s the real picture at ground-level, Partners in development & peace. THERE IS NO RICE SHORTAGE. The shortage was stage-managed. Whether the theatrics was designed overseas and spilled over here, or that it’s only a domestic script is something worth investigating. Our intelligence community should get busy getting to this business of pinning down who staged managed what.

Meantime, the Thailand & Company (states) that cartelized rice recently has done an act that now seems reactive. It is pure and plain panic, disguised as anything worth the ‘rationalization’ of the rice sector. True, for a time this measure can stabilize rice price and bring it down a bit. But now, this company has to prove itself worthy to the global community that its cartelization effort—state-sponsored, using the nation-state as mediating instrument—will make rice available to rice-consumers at relatively reasonable (note: cheap is out of the question) and sustained supply.

If the Thailand & Co will fail to meet global expectations, its member-states will be stoned with fiery embers of public wrath. And that is because, by placing themselves in the line of fire between the global consumers (who were the ‘victims’ in the shortage game script) and the global financiers-speculators (the real culprits in the criminal rise of price rice and stage-managed shortage), the national cartels will be the vent object for public ire. And there it goes, the real culprits go unnoticed and unpunished.

The real story of the price fluctuations in grains and foods in general is that many hedge funds and related financiers decided to park their money a bit in food for their commodity futures operations, eventually driving prices higher up. The reason being that it’s safer to park and earn money in food, period. Look at how the hedge funds were burnt out by their over-exposures to the subprime housing in the USA, that’s enough a precedent for the same financiers to go to safer investment havens. Or else the various global stakeholders will focus their eyes on these gung-ho derivatives investors and ‘burn them at stake’ (criminalize in world courts, regulated via new global treaties and instruments).

And that’s where price stabilization would start later: regulate speculative finance, take down the ‘virtual economy’ based on predatory speculation, dismantle global monopolies, return to fixed currencies backed up by the gold standard, tax cross-border financial transactions, and so on. Quite a wish list for now, true. Crisis after crisis will bring us to their galvanization…and, returning to the ‘real economy’, there’ll be enough grains, cereals, staples for all the earth’s peoples.

FOOD CRISIS AND ORGANIZED PANIC BY FOOD CARTELS & OLIGARCHY

We’re having a production-related problem with rice today in the Philippines today, which looks more like an echo problem of a larger global phenomenon of food crisis. Riots have already been experienced in at least 33 countries, and we may expect the frequency to rise in the months ahead.

To single out production factors, and especially to pinpoint flawed land-use patterns as the cause of the crisis, tends to blur the real cause behind much of our peace and development problems in the world today. This crisis is one of the anarchic results of orchestrations done by financial speculators over a stretch of three (3) decades, followed through recently by food cartels’ machinations to heighten up their looting of the public’s resources via the food market.

Let us recall that as early as the 1980s, the move towards liberalizing the food markets and integrate this sector into the evolving ‘virtual economy’—by unleashing speculative practices on agricultural products via instrument of ‘commodities markets’—already crept into our national boundaries. Gradually did the pattern get integrated into a global mesh of transactions involving not only food but a long list of articles of trade and services being transacted via the secondary markets or hedge funds.

The objective, as far as this observer now sees it, is to emerge a few gigantic cartels globally that some day dominate a global oligopoly. Probably as little as five (5) such colossal mega-corporations will be well prepositioned to control global food, thus enabling their control not only of the gene stocks (intellectual properties) but of prices most of all.

This scenario is now happening in steel. As soon as we hit the 900+ tones per annum or TPA production of global steel in the 1990s, plans were already afoot to eventually cartelize steel via mergers of giant steel firms, with the participation of fund managers in the process and ownership structures. The merger of Mittal and Alcelor, which resulted to the gigantic firm that now produces over 100 tpa, had now clearly substantiated this long forecast move to cartelize steel. In the near future, just about 3-5 such giants, each one producing 150+ tpa, will be left to control the global market of steel.

Didn’t you notice the sudden fluctuations in the prices of metals globally beginning in the middle of this decade yet? Often than not, based on our experience of the depression-era Weimar Republic, this phenomenon of hyper-inflationary swings in base and precious metal prices are preceding events prior to a global depression. This time around, the panic created by the corresponding process would be the sweetening of the steel merger option (with fund manager participation or rather manipulation) and, voila! Steel cartels are up! Hail the Cartels to the highest heavens!

The pattern is getting to be noxiously obvious that even a mere high school student of economics and history could easily see them. This same pattern is now creeping thru the food sector, even as it has also been taking down aluminum, nickel, copper, gold, banking, retail, realty, and lots of more sectors, with steel being the prototype experiment.

For the sharp observers out there, do make your tallies now as to which of the present food giants would emerge the victors. I will not be surprised if one day, my country’s own biggest F&B group, the San Miguel Corporation, will be gobbled up, via a merger with a larger corporate fish, and melt out into existence except in mere concept and memory of a once mighty firm.
Start making your tallies now. Meantime, let’s also start tallying the riots and casualties due to famine and food-related problems, and see where the casualty level will reach before the 3-5 cartels will become sacrosanct global food market controllers. It surely takes so much blood spillage to advance the interests of the Global Oligarchy, this is what we can get from the picture.

MATRIX & TERMINATOR FILMS: TECHNOTRONIC TYRANNY PROPHESIED

Magandang araw! (Good day)!

Let me share more thoughts about contemporary movies, about how they can be effective vehicles to reveal intuitive insights about future worlds. I’d focus this time on the film series Matrix and Terminator.

We can regard the texts of the said cinemas as allegorical, with some fundamental archetypes that can guide the viewer towards a deeper understanding of the script. We can also regard the texts as prophetic revelations about the future worlds, particularly the technotronic or technetronic society that is now shaping up.

As forecast by certain sociologists (e.g. Torraine) and futuristic writers (e.g. Asimov), the forthcoming historical epochs will be marked by the rise to prominence of cybernetic machines. The broader context of the society from which such high-technology innovations will be made possible was tagged by Daniel Bell as the ‘post-industrial society’, while the technology was dubbed as ‘third wave’ by Alvin Toffler.

Cybernetics, the informational-integrative science started by the eminent mathematician Norbert Wiener, will have to pass through its own stages of R&D revolutions before technotronics can be made possible. Eventually, this science must move to that point when the dividing line between human and machine can be effectively erased. With such erasure effected, humans notably the ‘low thinking ability’ class of folks—whom some elites pejoratively dubbed as ‘useless eaters’—can be controlled.

The objective of those experimenters and power elites is no less than absolute, total control of the folks. When the ‘eaters’ are put under control, with even their reproductive functions and private habits largely reprogrammed to suit broader societal goals, then signs are clear that the technotronic society has been born. In such a society, no one may be poor, but freedom from poverty would be at the expense of one’s own freewill.

The initial attempt to subordinate one’s individual life to broader social controls was already experimented recently as totalitarian state form. Communism, fascism and Islam were the prototypes of the reign of Tyranny that is a departure from previous tyrannies. In these prototypes, groupthought is reinforced by a mass that is politically mobile. Such a groupthought environment permits the total permeation of draconian values down to the household level.
But such prototypes were only able to succeed in terms of percolating the normative and value reinforcement templates of the futuristic Tyranny. They hardly sufficed to create immense dents in the very psyche of the folks so as to effect mutations in each of the mass members. The mutation, if ever, was superficial, as an erstwhile docile folk suddenly became participative and mobile in a society operating on the basis of the ‘group mind’.

What the designers of future worlds have in mind is to effect mutations in the psyche through intervention in both the biological and electromagnetic (aura) templates of the individual concerned. Among those inventions brewing up are advanced level microchips that can be implanted in sensitive parts of the body such as the brain and heart. When the prototypes of these cybernetic systems are produced, there will be no further need for ideological work the way they were done in the earlier totalitarian experiments. All it needs would be to program and reprogram each folk who bear with them the appropriate chip implants.

Matrix particularly depicted the future juncture when the programming will reach perfection. In this version of technotronics, each folk is directly attached to a mega-machine, controlled totally like a baby that is forever attached via an umbilical cord to its mother. When everyone else has been attached to his/her mega-machine ‘mother’, there can be no room for escape. The risk for challenging the system would be enormously high.

In that technotronics version, everyone else is in a sleeping state, or comatose by our medical standards of today. One’s personal experiences will be registered in the electromagnetic template like unto a dream state. With everyone provided for, who will ever think of the polarity principle and challenge the status quo? This is a society where every folk is indeed a perfected eater, yet productive enough as to contribute clearly to the sustenance of the deus ex machina.
As part of the security or sanction mechanisms, cybernetic machines will perform sentinel functions. Both the Terminator and Matrix series depicted this part well. The models could vary from cyborgs to tentacle octopus-like robots. Whatever will be the form of such cyber-sentinels in the future, they will come to fruition most likely. As of this writing, the proto-cyborgs are now coming out in the open in the form of humanoid robots.

As an update, do note that as of this moment, cybernetics had already advanced to the 3rd phase level, and is moving fast ahead. The objective of future phase cybernetics is to short-cut Thought or eliminate it altogether among the folks, by directing or manipulating the ‘eaters’ via computers. In which case there will be not much need for ideologizing which works by continuous brainwashing or sustained drumbeating of the state’s power via propaganda. While there will still be propaganda, it will be secondary contrasted to cyber-technology itself.

There is no doubt that all the Tyrannical experiments of the past will fold up sooner or later. Communism had already tragically collapsed, fascism is having a hard time to be revived, and Islam is pretty unstable. Eco-fascism is now being whipped up as a substitute for the failed communist experiments, but this too, which is propaganda-based in strategy, will flop out.
However, what can be culled from such experiments in futuristic Tyranny is the high-grade information about total behavior control. They are Skinner’s Walden Two enacted in the real world, of draconian experiments that sought to gain compliance by circumventing Thought and working straight on the Primal base of human behavior. The high-grade information has now been repacked and translated into both qualitative and mathematical languages, ready for their own re-utilization in the context of the erasure of distinction between human and machine.

At this time, the Old World with its semblance of thought-governed rules and templates is now coming to a close, approaching a ‘twilight zone’. It is coming at a time when the distinction between terrestrial and extraterrestrial is also on its twilight. Just one more element waits to unfold: the erasure of space-oriented with hyper-space travel, radically altering hence our time concepts.

The Terminator series was able to depict the successful short-cutting of the time process precisely through time-travel principles and mechanisms. Mystics and masters know too well these principles, even as they were able to demonstrate with ease how one can use his/her electromagnetic or EM body to travel to the past or future and come back to the present. The packaging of this information into cybernetic items is now within our hand, and sooner or later there will be such cyber-sentinels that can indeed travel across time to perform their duties.
If the Divine Hierarchs will not intervene enough on Earth and other star systems where planets are similarly situated (i.e. 3-dimensional, dense sphere), chances are that Earth and other Fallen planets will move closer to the dreaded technotronic future. It will be a future that will synthesize the basic foundations of 20th century totalitarianism and 21st century cybernetic innovations. Since mankind is quite somnambulistic in awareness today, a state that is almost similar to the Matrix awareness, very few human souls are even aware of where we’re heading for, much less aware of what to do.

For if majority of humans are aware, they would concur collective courses of action and invite the Divine Hierarchy to intervene as much as possible. This is the tragedy of the moment, a tragic condition that the divinities are trying hard to address from their end.
The danger with the evil experiments of the Terrans (Earth’s people) on behavior control, most especially totalitarian control, is that they might spill over to other habitable planets. How far aware are Terrans that cross-galactic observers, traversing hyperspace to come here, may have amassed enormous research data about Terran tyrannies for their own purposes, isn’t even on the table for evaluation.

And even more tragic would be the possibility that, over a century hence, these totalitarian systems may become obsolete on Earth, but the same junk systems would be executed in large scales across the vast expanse of galaxies. Because the Earth is now evolving, and chances are that such experiments, if they would last at all, won’t have a chance to last two hundred years from now. But there we are, diffusing tyrannical ideas—novel today but junk tomorrow—for some mad regimes and terror groups in other planets and star systems.

Our only hope now is for some enlightened forces in the galaxy to come forth and intervene. Precisely by using hyperspace principles to come to Earth now to help stop all the mad experiments going on here. Otherwise we will be repeating the ancient conflict of Star Wars, or the ‘fall of Lucifer’, all over again. The enlightened ‘jedi knights’ (signifying Light warrior forces) must come now, or too late in the day the terror machines will be all over us here, ensuring the death of liberty both here and across the galaxies.

Good day to you all seekers, freethinkers, freedom fighters!

Today is the 21st of September, a day of infamy that many adults in my homeland (Philippines) and overseas vividly recall. On this day in 1972, then President Ferdinand Marcos y Edralin declared Martial Law. Fourteen (14) years of darkness then ensued, amid the erstwhile developmental pursuits toward industrialization by this fledgling nation-state.

Marcos’ tyrannical fiats declared the closure of congress, banned all political parties and mass movements, confiscated the assets of detractor oligarchs, and sweepingly incarcerated around 30,000 perceived enemies of the state. When the dictatorship was overthrown in February 25 of 1986, over 120,000 were totally imprisoned without due process of law for the entire duration of the regime.

The bloody capstone of terror was the torture and execution of over 10,000 detractors of the regime. Add to these the tens of thousands who perished in the dictatorship’s brutal war against the Bangsamoro people and the dirty war against the Left, and you’d have a picture of a Dark Era in Philippine history that approximates the previous Dark Era of Japanese occupation of the country (1941-‘45).

This mystic was an adolescent during the early years of Martial Law, and was among the youth radicals of his restive heydays. I was then a 3rd year engineering student at the University of the Philippines when I witnessed several of my own buddies and club-mates arrested and imprisoned incommunicado for 1-3 months. Sensing that military agents were after me one time, I fled into hiding for almost two (2) months, forcing me to take leave from school for that affected semester.

One after the other some friends of mine, including a guitar jamming pal Bong M., were murdered by state agents. Bong’s body was found floating among the water lilies of the highly polluted Pasig River. A former freshman dorm-mate, Ting, also an activist, was shot by the son of an army general and the case remained unsolved. Fraternity brods of mine in the Collegium Liberum were locked up, while others who chose underground life as their primary vocation were gunned down by pursuing military commandoes.

For many years a Bogey Man dressed in military fatigue kept on appearing in my nightmares, relentlessly chasing me and gunning me down without compunction. In some occasions I chased back this Bogey Man and killed it. But he kept on coming back in my next nightmares. Even when I was already a young state official, and later a professor at the University of the Philippines, the same Bogey Man kept coming back deviously.

Martial Law surely had a way of building up my paranoia. It was a challenge for me to detoxify myself of the dense energies from the experience of facing the mighty dragon of Martial Law machinery. But it was possible, and I succeeded. By the year 1990, when I was already a practicing yogi, my paranoid fears have effaced, and gone was the militaristic Bogey Man for good. My nightmares likewise dwindled to almost nil.

It is nauseatingly erroneous to say that Martial Law was an entirely ‘negative experience’. It was an experience, to say the least. It induced anxiety and paranoia, true. But it also presented a window of opportunity for the libertarian flame to awaken from its nocturnal sleep. And this is the sublime lesson of those dark moments: people learned to love their freedoms more and fought for their liberty in blood when exigencies so demanded.

Furthermore, Martial Law also accelerated the renascence of Philippine nationalism that, like the libertarian flame, slept undisturbed in the catacombs of the damned. Nationalism is a progressive force in the Philippines that comprises of over 100 ethno-linguistic groups. In the absence of nationalism, each ethno-linguistic community is like a nation unto itself, promoting its parochial interests and fomenting separatist wars of independence.

And the crowning glory of the Filipinos, for all the sacrifices they exhibited during those dark years, sacrifices writ in blood notwithstanding, finally arrived, when upon gathering their strengths collectively, they overthrew Tyranny via ‘people power’ in 1986. Such a sublime feat won accolades from fellow peoples of Earth everywhere. So the patriots who laid their lives to restore democracy and an ‘open society’ didn’t die in vain after all, but died with full honors as heroes of the nation and the human race.

Personally, Martial Law forged in me the warrior traits of Iron Will and audacity in action. In 1975, as a naïve freshman, I was a thin, fragile, wimpy nerd who just entered the august halls of the University of the Philippines. The sight of rambles and fistfights were enough to unnerve me and made me pee on my pants due to fright… By 1980, after over three (3) years of activism, I was a determined warrior-type soul, ready to face not only grimly-faced enemies in the battlefield but also demonic types in the astral domains (I was already a seeker and yoga student by then). I have mutated, thanks to Martial Law!

Not only the forging of 1st Ray (warriorship) traits, but also the countless capabilities I’ve learned from radical civil society were equally manna from heaven. Name them: social marketing, advocacy, policy analysis, campaign strategies & tactics, mass campaign planning, development communication, and more. All spin offs from my youthful experiences of facing the Mighty Dragon of tyranny.

Finally, two decades after becoming a youth activist (I joined the underground Kabataang Makabayan or Patriotic Youth in August 1977), I was, as a mystic of the GWB, able to articulate libertarian experience into a coherent wisdom tradition: libertosophy. As I argued in my book Libertosophy & Freethought (2000), the libertarian as a social type can climb the transcendent height via the libertarian Path, provided that s/he will complete the lessons in life with the other ingredients of a yoga package.

Very revealingly, I also realized, along my spiritual journey, that a Divine Being, Liberty, exists as the inspirational Light of all libertarians or social emancipators. To my delight, I discovered that the Lady Liberty constructed for the New York harbor is a wonderful archetype of this Being of Light. Formless in shis natural form, Liberty inspires and guides libertarians, provided that the libertarians sojourn the Path of Light.

So, Fellows in the Path, let it be summed up: Tyranny, in whatever form, is an experience that presents both positive and negative aspects. It is a tapestry of tragic incidents of every kind, but it likewise presents opportunities for learning, capability-building and innovative actions. This thesis is a ‘take it or leave it’ one: either you see only the negative aspect of the experience, or you see both aspects dynamically relating to each other like yin-yang forces.

RE-ECHOING THE MAHARLIKA PROJECT

Good Day, Fellows on Earth!

This yogi, mystic and teacher of the Path is a firm advocate of the Maharlikan cause. In the light of the success of the latest national activity of the Ang Katipunan ng mga Maharlika ng Pilipinas or AKSM, an alliance of multi-sectoral organizations advocating the same cause, I hereby re-echo the Maharikan cause.

Before I came to encounter the name of PR Sarkar, founding master of the Ananda Marga which is the spiritual base order of the AKSM, this teacher already was a strong advocate of inner transformation and nomenclature change for the Republic of the Philippines. I was glad to know that a senator of the Repubic, the Hon. Eddie Ilarde, who is also a veteran communications man and TV personality, was advocating for a similar cause, with Maharlika being advanced as the new name for the republic.

From 1977 t0 1997, I gravitated towards the progressive Left formations in the country, was catapulted to national leadership posts of mass movements, and was able to use the progressive organizations as venue for percolating and advancing ideas about inner and cultural changes in the country. Being a sociologist and economist, I also found these organizations as appropriate for studying and advancing nationalist, patriotic and dirigist policies of development.

By 1998 I was a personality on my own, an independent thinker and analyst, who was invited in many venues including the TV stations to share my thoughts about various public issues of the day. I never relented in my advocacies a bit, at the same time that my yoga practice had moved me towards the mystic phase of my Path. Though an independent intellectual, I decided just the same to join the Sunday Kapihan-Independent Review Circle of Dr. Maning Yap and Ka Mentong Laurel, both eminent personalities and fellow political economists. In the Sunday Kapihan discussions, I made it clear about where I stood, and gave the group a copy of my essay "Testament of National Grandeur" that advocated for an inner revolution and a nomenclature change for the islands from Republic of the Philippines to People's Patriotic Republic of Maharlika.

The reason for the nomenclature change was discussed in another article that appeared in my book 13 Gate Unveiled. At that time (1999, 2000), I began to interact with the Ananda Marga monks and PROUT practitioners whom I met at the Earthlite, a center for LightWorkers in Manila. I found out from the monks and also from an article by Eddie Ilarde that PR Sarkar knew the ancient name of the Philippines which accordingly was Maharlika.

Comparing the names Philippines and Maharlika was no easy task. Being a social scientist, I had to use analytical methods for the comparison, using the Power-criterion as yardstick. I had to answer the question: which name was more powerful than the other? Using a theory of language evolution for my study, particularly the monosyllabic theory (languages evolve from monosyllabic to polysyllabic), I reduced the terms Philippines and Maharlika to their barest phonemes or mono-syllables.

I realized, using the method, that both names were powerful. Philippines was imperious and kingly, permitting us to become the leading nation of Southeast Asia through its vibration. It contains both masculine (phi) and feminine (lip) elements, ensuring a complete yin-yang balance in our affairs. I admitted to the power of this name, and paid no attention to the Machiavellian tirades of fellow patriots who rather stressed on the negative elements associated with King Philip II of Spain, the emperor from whose imperial name Philippines was derived.

However, the term Maharlika was more powerful. Breaking it down to Ma Har Li Ka, and searching for the meanings of each syllable by using linguistic experiment, I discovered that it also contained both the feminine (Ma) and masculine (Har or Haj or Jah) elements, ensuring a yin-yang balance in our affairs with its usage. However, the terms Li (signifier for alteration or change) and Ka (Sanskrit signifier for revolution), when attached to Ma-Har, resulted to a term that meant Great Force for Change/Revolution, and was a cutting edge term without doubt. This name was beyond doubt more powerful than Philippines!

Being so, this yogi-mystic-teacher then made his position clear, armed now with a scientific evidence of the greater power of Maharlika, that a name change should be effected. I declared this clearly even in the earlier article "Testament of National Grandeur" that was circulated in the Independent Review-Sunday Kapihan Circle, which the eminent historian Dr. Serafin Quiazon, past Executive Director of the National Historical Institute, at once catalogued at the prestigious Lopez Museum/Library.

I am standing pat on this advocacy for a nomenclature change, and likewise a corresponding inner transformation for us Filipinos or Maharlikans. The exoteric or popular meaning of Maharlika is Noble, a great signifier of our nobility as a people before all peoples of the planet, assuming that we do follow the programs of attainment for us to indeed become virtuous people.

I stand by my fellow patriots' standpoint, including the devotees and disciples of PR Sarkar, for the nomenclature change and the agenda of change in the economic, political and cultural spheres. The name change must go hand in hand with the social-economic-cultural-political-psychological changes and never in isolation from the broader 'transformation project'.

To all peoples of the planet, let us all chant MAHARLIKA! Chant Maharlika with us New Maharlikans! Connect to our heart chakras as we do to yours! Attune with us as we do our mission of fomenting audacious and noble inner revolutions for the planet!

I hereby extend my most fraternal solidarity greetings to all of you officers, cadres and members of the Ang Katipunan ng mga Samahang Maharlika, on the occasion of your magnanimous national organization’s General Assembly.

Your noble organization had attained enormous progress through the past couples of years. With certitude our fellow patriots do recognize by now the potency of the AKSM and its sister organizations that comprise the Ananda Marga network. May you continue to sustain your organization’s growth till you reach the farthest extent of your potentiality and contribute in no small measure to the permeation of noble patriotic and transcendent values among our compatriots.

The challenges ahead of you are legion, so it is deemed crucial an event to reflect on the next 25-30 years and configure master plan-type of strategic courses of action. Among the highly discontinuous events that can happen over the next 30 years are: the earth changes and serial catastrophes accompanying them; the possible eradication of nation-states and the rise of a totalitarian global state; the devastation of the market economies; a global war; and, large-scale population decimations occurring as offshoots of the turbulent changes.

Prepositioning the Philippines and leveraging the strengths of our fellow Filipinos in the forthcoming decades are of the tallest orders of missions. Let us all do what we can now to prepare for those coming contingencies. I opine that the broad compass that AKSM is embarking on—of building model economic systems at the grassroots interconnected through proper institutional arrangements at all levels—is a strong pro-active course of action.

Please go ahead with your pre-defined agenda for strategic planning. Rest assured you will gain greater mileages in your future efforts through your output plan and the will to execute the determinative goals.

May the Divine Beings including your founding Master be with you all in your endeavors. May the souls of our departed founding patriots of the Philippine nation—Rizal, Bonifacio, Mabini, Quezon—also be with you always.
